Six minus two for december 25

My son is a quiet one...says very few words... But in his journal that is part of a school requirement, which incidentally is actually edited by moi... He wrote that his dream was to be a chef!
And so even with his a.d.d. He DID manage to pass high school then attend st. Benilde for 4 trimes...then shifted to culinary arts in Iscahm!
After his first job in an italian fast food joint, it really took quite some time before he finally got a call! Voila...sa cruise liner na nga! I was in tears...he was in tears too!

When he was 12 years old, he dreamt of being a chef in a cruise liner...seeing only the dream to cook good food, travel the world and dream as well to send her mama a trip to europe! Naks ha...but now he is 22, he is happy yet "masakit daw sa puso" bec now my young boy is so in love, my young boy is now a man who will leave home for the first time.

Truly the Lord answered our prayers...to give my eldest son a job that The Lord wants for him, a job where he will mature, job where he will truly serve. Not only homo sapiens with distinct gastonomic desires but more to serve the Almighty creator who has endowed my son with so much talents!

Yes the Lord answers my prayers  Will this christmas be happy or sad?

  1. Separation is ALWAYS a sad thing. But we are in the stage where we need to let go as much as we wanted to hang on. It's a reality that sooner or later we will be left alone with our kids having their own lives and family. Anyway, Congratulations again to Gino and to you who has been a supportive mother all the way!
